ASSIGNMENT 2: TALKING ABOUT ICT

Today we live in an era of great changes, the world has envolved over time and this has led us to move at the place of this evolution.

When we are talking about new technologies, we think about progress. We must'nt forget that is important for people to be able to use them and to take advantatge of this so they become learning tools. Therefore, it is at school where we have to teach students the use of these new technologies. For this reason, it is necessary to change the direction of teaching and we should teach to interpretand not only to understand.

Through new technologies, we receive a lot of information and we have to be able to manage it so ti doesn't become saturation. we must habe the ability to select, to value and to reflect on this information and do it with autonomy, thinking skills and also to be used as a means of learning.

This is a great challenge for the current education because it is necessary to change the old educational system and today the teacher must become a guide more than an instructor. However, teachers also need to learn how to make a good use and find new ways of teaching.

We must look to the future and improve education through contributions that offer us progress.
